2016 REDLANDS OPTIMIST CHILI COOK-OFF

2016 marks the 16th year the Optimist Club of Redlands has staged the Redlands Optimist Chili Cook-off. Previously the Redlands Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event in conjunction with a Firemen’s Muster.

The Optimist Chili Cook-off is an opportunity for promotion of local businesses and organizations. The competition includes “Best Chili,” “People’s Choice” and “Best Presentation.” Prize money has grown over the history of the Cook-off and we are proud to award $750.00 for 1st Place and $400.00 for 2nd. This is possible due to a generous donation from an Optimist benefactor.

Prize money for People’s Choice is $400 and Best Presentation is $250.00. This is possible due to a generous donation from an Optimist benefactor.

Past winners include 96.7 KCAL-FM, The Establishment Social Club, 1st Lutheran Church of Redlands and BPO Elks Redlands Lodge #583, to name a few. Having fun is a great reason to participate and also the money raised from ticket sales helps fund the charitable work of the Redlands Optimist Club Foundation, Inc.
